Barbican Terrace is a 6 bedroomed, low to medium supported house share. The home provides alcohol and drug users, in the beginning stages of recovery, a safe and secure environment, whilst working towards independent living.
The house is offered to our residents for a period of up to 2 years, when the opportunity of a move-on flat will be come available. Our residents are encouraged to become involved in new directions daily, such as voluntary work, education, training and recreation.
Referrals from the Bridge Project to CPND’s Jigsaw Furniture Project are frequent, providing an opportunity for residents to learn a variety of new skills, which may ultimately assist them in finding employment.
Trained staff are on site during working hours, and available after hours, through an “on call” system, providing full support when necessary.

Southview House
Southview House offers continual secure support for those recovering from addiction dependencies. The house has 3 one-bedroom part furnished flats, preparing our residents for the next stage of independent living.
Residents who have had a successful occupancy at Barbican Terrace may be offered one of the flats for a further 2 years. When residents feel ready, referrals are then made by staff to CPND’s Housing and Support Services placement agency, which will find suitable move-on independent accommodation. Moving on from the project is carefully considered as experience has shown that it is a critical step and it needs to be the right time for each resident.
Continual outreach support is also available to each resident, once they have left the Bridge Project to assist them in ensuring successful independent living.
